Its a long time ago now since I was so lucky to have Joshua in my Reception class at Abbey Gates Primary school in Ravenshead.
A more friendly, beautiful boy you could not find. 
His stories in his diary were so inventive and entertaining when he told you about them. My favourite was when he said his Dad was an explorer and travelled aroond the world. 
I was his first teacher and I always think about him when I pass by the big hall at the crossroads near West Notts Tech where he used to live with his family. 
lots of talk on tv this morning about the dangers young drivers have and I thought of Joshua in that car with his friends.
My thoughts and best wishes to his family. Just read his Mum’s words she spoke at his funeral and I hope time has helped the raw feelings that are so hard to live with.
